You know when you're a child, you have all these fears, of monsters coming out of the cupboards.. or crawling out from under the bed.. it's all in your imagination, but it feels so real...
Isomnia as a being. It's real, it's happening, it's here. yeh that's me, and this is one of my final.. yes FINAL images for my self directed project on insomnia. SO much work has gone into this one I'm really proud of my outcome. Art Direction: Me Make-up and Styling: Me Photography: Me Model: Me Comments and useful critique are most welcome and encouraged  I'm also working on a mixed media piece for this.. but I'll thumb all my insomnia stuff in a Journal when I'm finished!  commitment to this kind of propping is always the beginning of a great photo for me. I really enjoy the expression and tension held in your hands, they communicate a feeling of volume. A closing in - I'm an insomnia girl from way back and it colors your world when you're there. Great translation!

 I was really worried about how the pictures would turn out, but overall I'm really happy with the outcome  It's nice to hear from someone who's suffered from it too I hope you're getting sleep now  -- I came, I saw, I conquered  very interesting.

-- White rabbits grant your wishes, you know.  this one and #2 are my fav, however I think that this one conveys the most emotion, #2 I think is more Insomnia, and this one something more dreadfull, or maybe yet even deeper despair, it made me a lil uncomfortable
